concept:

Am I enough?

To what extent is my own satisfaction directly related to external influences? Does it depend on oneself or on others? When do I act out of my feelings and when do I try to comply? These are questions that were on my mind during the process. The result was the song ‚Enough‘. The series of paintings ‚enough‘ is the answer to that.

A purely feeling-based work. Without thinking if it is enough. The series is also the impetus to always do so. I created the paintings (acrylic on canvas) by simply trusting my feeling and following my intuition. Without a plan, without a brush. Free forms in mixed colours painted with the forearm, in between a lot of free space. Not as in Suprematism from the 1920s, the individual colourful segments symbolise the fulfilment. They stand for diversity in one's own life. The white areas in between the scope. The borderless world we live in. This work stand for the empowerment to do purely what you feel. You are enough! Wether it is enough for others, you do no know, whether it will be enough for you in the future, you also do not know - but what you know: For you it is enough when you are happy, when you can trust your feeling and make decisions based on your feeling.
